No, Marcel is staying behind, because they've just finished working on the contract for another deal with the Russians and while very few in the Ministry would actually dare (or want or whatever) to approach JL's office while he wasn't in it, you can never know and compromising stuff don't stop being compromising just because people are afraid to look.
